Getting to Portland
Fly right into Portland (PWM), we're five minutes away.
If you fly into Boston (BOS), you'll probably want to rent a car, otherwise you can take the Concord Coachlines right to Thompson's Point.
Where to Stay
We recommend staying in East Bayside (our neighborhood!), East End, or The Old Port. All three neighborhoods are walkable or an easy Uber ride to the party and tons of other restaurants / bars / breweries / landmarks / Maine things.
The Cambria, AC Hotel, and Residence Inn are all on the same block and put you in a great spot for enjoying the city. We recommend taking a look at rentals for the weekend, too.
Getting to the Party
Austin Street Brewery has plenty of off-street parking, but Ubers, Lyfts and taxis are readily available in the area, too. If you're staying in one of the neighborhoods mentioned above, walking is always an option!

Things to Do
‣ Head to the Arts District (Upper Congress St. towards the West End) - Start at City Hall and keep on walking for lots of cool shops, fun bars and restaurants, art galleries, and museums. If you get in on Friday, the Portland Museum of Fine Arts has free admission from 4-7pm!
‣ East Bayside Crawl - This is our neighborhood! Here's a Google Map of all of our favorite spots to visit. There are breweries, distilleries, seltzeries, wineries, and restaurants. There's also some really great food trucks parked outside all of the above on any given day. We just included our favorites, but there's a lot of places to stop as you bop around.
‣ Take the Ferry to Peaks Island - It's a short ride on the Casco Bay Ferry Lines and you get a great view of the bay. If you're planning ahead, you can rent golf carts, bikes, and kayaks. If you're just popping over for a few hours, you can walk the island and grab ice cream or a bite to eat at one of the places near the ferry dock.
‣ Explore the Old Port - This is where you'll see all of the cobblestone streets and waterfront views. There's shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic points of interest.
‣ These are some of our favorite places to eat in addition to the ones included on our East Bayside Map: Crispy Gai, Papi, Terlingua, Hot Suppa, Chaval, Central Provisions, Wilson County BBQ, Bird & Co., Paper Tiger, Off Track Pizza, Brickyard Hollow
